Thermosleeve 1" heat shrink tubing is a thin wall, black tubing designed to shrink to half its original size with a 2:1 ratio for a snug fit over wiring and connections.
It is commonly used for shrink-fit electrical insulation over splices and terminations, as well as lightweight wire harness covering, wire marking, wire bundling, component packaging, and fire-resistant applications.
This tubing has a continuous operating temperature rating of -67 to 275° F (-55 to 125° C), is UL Recognized at 600 volts at -55 to 257° F (125° C), and features split resistance, mechanical toughness, cold flow resistance, and easy marking. Specifications include UL File No. E-180908, shrink temperature: 90°, radial shrinking rating: ≥ 50, tensile strength (MPa): ≥ 10.4, flammability rating: VW-1, and concentricity (%): ≥ 65.
All 4-foot lengths of heat shrink tubing are folded for shipping. Kinks may be present on arrival, but they disappear when heat is applied.
