The Parts Express 12V 500 mA DC power supply is an AC adapter with a 2.1 x 5.5 mm center-negative plug. It is UL approved and has a 6-foot cord.
It provides 12 V, 500 mA output, with a maximum power output of 6W. Input requirements are 120 VAC, 60 Hz. Output voltages are rated at full load; no-load voltages can be up to 50% higher.
For most applications, an adapter with a higher capacity can be used, but always select one with the same voltage.
