Thermosleeve black adhesive heat shrink tubing is 3/8" and 4 ft long, with a 3:1 shrink ratio that reduces it to 3x its original size. The adhesive helps hold wires together and seal out moisture, making it suitable for outdoor electrical connections and connections between different diameter cables.
Use it as shrink-fit electrical insulation over splices and terminations, or for lightweight wire harness covering, wire marking, wire bundling, component packaging, and fire-resistant applications. The tubing is split-resistant and mechanically tough, resists cold flow, and offers electrical, physical, and chemical properties for professional and DIY work.
Its continuous operating temperature rating is -67 to 275° F (-55 to 125° C); it is UL Recognized at -67 to 257° F (-55 to 125° C) (UL File No. E-180908). Shrink temperature is 230° F (110° C); radial shrinking rating is ≥ 50; tensile strength is ≥ 10.4 MPa; flammability rating is VW-1; and water absorption is less than 0.4%. The 4-foot length is folded for shipping and may arrive with kinks, which disappear when heat is applied.
