The 6K4 vacuum tube is a direct replacement for the Dayton Audio HTA200 Hybrid Stereo Tube Amplifier taller (front) tubes. This tube amplifies one channel of the voltage input signal and imprint its warm tonal quality on the signal before it is fed into the power amplifier stage, which boosts the signal even further to drive speakers or other output devices.
