The AtlasIED Omni-Purpose® AP Series 15W PA paging horn speaker is U.S.-made and designed for sound and signaling applications. Its weather-resistant construction combines metal and matching ABS plastic, with metal components finished in gray baked epoxy. The patented, environment-resistant series is available in 15W and 30W versions; this speaker is rated at 15 watts.
It has 70.7V taps of 1, 2, 3.8, 7.5 and 15 watts, a nominal frequency response of 400–14,000 Hz, and sensitivity of 106 dB at 1W/1m. Dimensions are 7-7/8" W × 8-3/4" H × 9-5/16" D.
In constant-voltage audio distribution systems, such as those used in department stores, warehouses and restaurants, one amplifier can drive multiple loudspeakers over long runs of speaker wire. These systems commonly use 70-volt or 25-volt distribution; this speaker's listed taps are for 70.7V.
