The Atmosphere AZM8 is an 8-zone audio processor and the central hub of an Atmosphere audio control system. Its DSP and advanced algorithms support tailored audio solutions for a wide range of environments. Features include a built-in message player, virtual wall controllers, learning ambient noise sensing, Tilter Filter™, auto-gain, GPIO, a bell scheduler, and room combine.
The AZM8 works with all Atmosphere wall plate accessories for control, remote audio input, and ambient noise sensing. Up to 16 plug-and-play accessories can connect across its four accessory ports, and a zone paging station can also be added. Each port supports reliable operation over distances up to 1000 ft.
Programming uses an on-board web interface built with Progressive Web App technology. The responsive, device-agnostic interface is designed for an intuitive user experience while allowing design flexibility. Alongside Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi lets tablets and other control devices connect directly to the AZM8. Control modules are available for RTI, Crestron, Extron, and AMX.
Atmosphere accessories include an Ambient Noise Sensor; Zone, Source, and Volume Wall Controller; Volume Controller; Remote Bluetooth Audio Input; Remote XLR Input; RCA/3.5mm Audio Input; Wall Controller; Wall Controller with Bluetooth Audio; Virtual Wall Controller QR Code Holder; Zone Paging Station; and rack mount kits for up to five or three wall controllers. Recommended speakers are AS Series Surface Mount Loudspeakers, Isoflare In-Ceiling Loudspeakers, and AimLine Digitally Steerable Surface Mount Column Array Loudspeaker.
