The Audio-Technica 2000 Series UHF wireless handheld system includes an ATW-R2100a receiver and an ATW-T220a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone/transmitter. It is designed for MI/live performance, fixed installation, public address, A/V rental houses and places of worship.
The system has 10 selectable channels, FM modulation and an operating frequency of 487.125 to 506.500 MHz. It uses True Diversity UHF wireless technology and automatic frequency scanning to find and set the best available frequency. Any of the 10 channels can be used together without frequency coordination problems or group selection issues. Digital Tone Lock™ squelch, an easy-to-read LCD information display and switchable antenna power are included. Maximum deviation is ±40 kHz and dynamic range is > 110 dB (A-weighted), typical.
The receiver has 60 dB nominal, 55 dB minimum image rejection; RF sensitivity of 20 dBuV at 60 dB S/N ratio (50 ohms termination); BNC-type, 50-ohm antenna inputs; and 12V DC, 60 mA bias voltage at each input. Power requirements are 12-18V DC, 500 mA. Its dimensions are 8.27" W x 6.39" D x 1.73" H (210.0 x 162.2 x 44.0 mm), not including BNC connectors or feet. Maximum output level is +9 dBV for balanced XLR and +4 dBV for unbalanced 1/4" (6.3 mm). The balanced audio output attenuator is a two-position 0 / -12 dB switch. Included accessories are two flexible UHF antennas, an AC adapter (country dependent) and rack-mount adapters.
The handheld transmitter has switchable RF power output of High 30 mW or Low 10 mW, at 50 ohms, and spurious emissions that follow federal and national regulations. It uses two 1.5V AA batteries, not included; battery life is High 7 hours (alkaline) or Low 9 hours (alkaline), depending on battery type and use pattern. Dimensions are 9.13" long and 1.89" diameter (232.0 x 48.0 mm). An AT8456a Quiet-Flex™ stand clamp is included.
