To ensure interference free, long life performance Audtek HDMI 2.1 cables have metal hoods and a nylon braid. The metal hoods help the cable pass high-speed specific EMI test to ensure there's no signal interference from adjacent ports. The nylon braid prevents accidental scaring of the internal jacket when moving the cable around sharp corners.
