The Aulos "Classroom" Series Tenor Recorder is a lightweight, 3-piece recorder in the key of C, the same key as a soprano recorder. Its shorter right-hand finger stretch is designed to make the transition from soprano to tenor more natural, while Baroque fingering keeps the design key-free.
Finished in dark brown with an ivory-colored mouthpiece and trim, it measures 62.2 cm in length. The narrow mouthpiece, streamlined shape and curved windway contribute to a clear, gentle, soft and sonorous tone. It plays smoothly in the higher register and offers superb voicing and excellent intonation throughout its full range. Its 3-piece construction allows precise intonation.
Made from strong, high-class ABS resin, the recorder has a concave bell at the foot joint and a patented double joint designed to join smoothly with no air leaks. Included accessories are a leatherette bag, thumb rest, cleaning rod, joint grease and fingering chart.
