B&C's 8BG51 8" neodymium woofer is fitted with an optimized paper cone and rubber half-roll surround, and strikes a fine balance between bass output and overall efficiency. The 8BG51's ventilated voice coil gap ensures long term power handling and reduced power compression, and a copper cap on the pole piece reduces high frequency-degrading inductance. Highly recommended for compact 2-way speaker systems.
