With a non-resonant cast aluminum rear chamber, the 8NSM64-8 can be easily installed into enclosures without the need for additional isolation. The motor system is powered by a high energy neodymium ring magnet for low weight and high efficiency. Treated with a waterproof coating, the naturally damped paper cone keeps unwanted resonances under control for smooth and accurate response, even when used in harsh conditions. B&C's NSM series dedicated narrow-bandwidth midranges offer the lowest distortion at given output of any midrange available. The 8NSM64-8 is the ideal midrange for use in high output 3-way direct radiation or front loaded horn speaker systems.
