The DCX354’s midrange diaphragm, with a 76mm (3 inch) voice coil, covers 400Hz to 6kHz, delivering 112.2 dB sensitivity and handling 180 watts. Thanks to a patent-pending diaphragm shape, the driver achieves extended low-frequency bandwidth by progressively decoupling the outer diameter as frequency rises. The high-frequency diaphragm, with a 51mm (2 inch) voice coil, covers 5kHz to 20kHz with 114.3 dB sensitivity and handles 100 watts. Together, these features ensure a smooth and powerful audio output across a wide frequency range.
The redesigned, patented midrange integrator allows both diaphragms to work in harmony over a broad bandwidth, providing greater combined output and crossover flexibility.
