Belden Brilliance 8451 is a 250 ft, 2-conductor mic/line cable for point-to-point balanced and unbalanced audio signals in commercial and residential installations. It is also suited to internal wiring of portable audio equipment racks, with a composition optimized for high reliability and low susceptibility to electrical interference.
The cable has one pair of 22 AWG tinned copper conductors with 7x30 stranding, described as easy to solder, plus a tinned copper drain wire. Its shield is 100% Beldfoil® (Z-Fold®) aluminum foil-polyester tape. Nominal capacitance is 34 pF/ft. and nominal impedance is 45 ohms.
