The Beston RT002A is a 6 Ohm dipolar ribbon tweeter with no rear cup, designed for dipole speaker systems. Its no-rear-cup configuration improves low-frequency response down to 1,000 Hz.
The ribbon’s extremely low driven radiating-surface mass supports the tweeter’s range, efficiency, tonal neutrality, and transient response. Its motor, diaphragm, and carefully controlled horn loading balance sensitivity with wide, even dispersion. The diaphragm’s monolithic shape and orientation provide broad horizontal and tightly controlled dispersion, while the sculpted waveguide faceplate promotes smooth, extended high frequencies.
For maximum power handling, Beston recommends a third order (18 dB/octave) or higher crossover. The suggested crossover frequency is 2,800 Hz or higher.
