A 1.75" copper-clad aluminum voice coil with a Kapton former works with DEPLOCEX technology to improve heat dissipation. The supplier states that this design reduces coil temperature by 30% and enables high-frequency drivers to achieve over 15% more power. It increases the coil and magnetic gap surface area for heat radiation while maintaining the same Bl and final SPL, and improves thermal transmission along the coil length in contact with the iron.
