Will it slow down my door? No. The dual-tube design compresses on contact and springs back when the door swings open. Most users say their door operates the same as before.
Does the adhesive damage paint? The 3M-grade adhesive removes cleanly within the first few months. After a long install on hot or humid doors, residue can be cleared with rubbing alcohol.

Can I cut it to ? Yes. Household scissors work fine. Cut from one end only so both adhesive ends remain intact.
What color should I pick? Black hides dirt best. Gray matches most modern interior doors. Brown blends with wood-tone doors.
