Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F, BWV 1046 is presented here as a critical edition for solo violin, based on Johann Sebastian Bach’s well-known Baroque concerto.
This edition by Heinrich Besseler includes an extensive preface and editor’s notes. The harpsichord continuo has been realized by Eduard Müller.
Because the Violino piccolo sounds a third higher than written, this set includes both a fingering notation copy and a concert notation copy. Instrumentation: 0.3.0.1: 2.0.0.0: Hpchd (continuo): Str (2-2-2-1-1): Solo Violin (in set).
