The Caig Laboratories vacuum tube survival kit is designed to clean and protect terminals in tube audio gear. It combines DeoxIT D25 contact cleaner and rejuvenator with DeoxIT Gold GX-MD conditioner and protector to help terminals withstand the excessive heat tubes produce.
Unlike alcohol-based products that may clean terminals temporarily without protecting them against heat, this kit addresses both cleaning and protection. Its treatment is intended to help terminals last longer without gumming or varnishing issues.
The kit includes (1) 25 mL bottle of DeoxIT contact cleaner and rejuvenator with a needle dispenser, (1) 7.4 mL bottle of DeoxIT Gold GX-MD conditioner and protector with a brush applicator, (1) stainless-steel precision socket cleaning brush, (2) lint-free cleaning brushes, (2) foam swabs, (2) soaking cups, and (12) lint-free cotton cloth swabs.
