This Audio-Technica cardioid condenser headworn microphone is designed for hands-free use by drummers, keyboard players and others. Its comfortable, unobtrusive headband places the microphone at the side of the mouth. The cardioid polar pattern helps isolate the desired sound source. This version is described as the ATM73a without its power module.
Choose one connector option: 3.5 mm male connector wired mono; 3.5 mm male connector wired dual mono for stereo mic inputs; or mini TA3F connector for Audio-Technica power supplies. The microphone has a fixed-charge back plate, permanently polarized condenser element, 40–15,000 Hz frequency response and an 80 Hz low-frequency roll-off at 18 dB/octave.
