The Celestion FTR18-4080FD is an 18" professional pro woofer built for demanding audio applications.
It features a rigid, acoustically optimized cast aluminum frame and a specially treated, weather-resistant cone. Its 1,000 watt RMS power rating is achieved largely through a 4" high temperature Inside/Outside voice coil that helps dissipate heat and reduce sensitivity loss through thermal compression.
Extensive venting through the frame and motor structure improves reliability, while the exclusive Flexirol™ surround and double suspension help maintain exceptional linearity, even at the highest excursions.
