Ciare CLOC6 Line Output ConverterThe Ciare CLOC6 6-channel output converter is designed to add aftermarket equipment to a factory-installed head unit. It combines input summing, differential balanced inputs, independent variable gains, selectable ground isolation, and multiple turn-on options for more flexible OEM integration.
A broad 8-16V operating range makes it suitable for use in many different systems, while remote turn-on and signal sensing help simplify installation.
Input summing is available on all channels, allowing stereo signals to be combined into mono for subwoofer use or merged into a full-range output from filtered signals, such as pairing a high-frequency channel with a low-frequency channel.
Differential balanced inputs help reduce output noise for a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 100 dB. Independent gain controls provide more complete system tuning, and selectable ground isolation helps eliminate ground loop issues.
The input stage is rated for 40V, allowing connection to even high-power mobile audio systems. Its 10V outputs supply amplifiers with maximum signal to help prevent clipping and support full amplifier output.
