HDMI uses HDCP encryption to protect programming from Blu-ray discs as well as pay-per-view and subscription programs, but most network programming is not encrypted. This device allows you to play video from HDTV cameras and camcorders, home movies burned to DVD, and most programming from satellite, cable and set-top HDTV receivers. Connection is simple with no programming or difficult settings to be changed. Measuring only 2-3/8" W x 2-1/4" D x 1-7/8" H, this unit can be placed almost anywhere. Operates on 5 VDC USB power.
