This Concerto by Johann Valentin Rathgeber was originally written for two trumpets and strings.
The two outer movements are full of imitation and rhythmic interest, in a style not unlike Vivaldi’s double trumpet Concerto. The key has been transposed from E-flat to B-flat concert.
