Crimond or The Lord's My Shepherd is a simple and elegant hymn arrangement commonly sung in church.
This short arrangement opens with a solo brass quartet, then develops the melody into a colourful mosaic of sound and timbre. The melody moves from section to section with interesting rhythmic variations.
The piece leads to a large, dramatic ending, with dissonance in the lower voices resolving to a powerful major chord.
