Dance of Yao by Xinyu (Maggie) Francis-Ma is based on the theme of a Yao folk dance, with the melody flowing seamlessly between the different sections. The tremolo creates a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere, evoking the image of people singing and dancing under the soft glow of moonlight. The pizzicato in the lower strings enhances the rhythmic feel of the dance, adding depth and energy to the overall composition. (2:00)
