This commercial audio bundle pairs a Dayton Audio DA40T tabletop mixer-amplifier with six 8" full-range in-ceiling speakers and six UL listed tile bridges, one for each speaker. It is suited to commercial paging, background music, and fire signaling in places such as schools, hospitals, retail stores, warehouses, and restaurants.
The amplifier delivers a maximum power output of 40W (1% THD) and supports 70V, 100V, and 4-16 ohm speaker outputs (mono; not to be used with mixed impedance loads). It can be used with 70 volt speakers and residential 8 ohm speakers. Connections include one 1/4" XLR/TRS jack, one RCA AUX connection, and terminal block telephone inputs. Priority music muting temporarily ducks background music for paging. Each 8" speaker has a 12 oz. ceramic magnet, 1" aluminum voice coil, built-in 70 volt transformer, and transformer taps of 0.63, 1.25, 2.5, 5, and 10W. Speaker specifications: frequency response 45-15,000 Hz; mounting holes 11.25" CTC; cutout dimensions 8.27"; dimensions 12.9" OD x 2.95" D. The Fourjay PB8 tile bridges are made from heavy duty galvanized steel. Each measures 14" W x 23-3/4" L, has a 7.5" inside cutout diameter, and screw holes for 9-1/8" and 11-1/4" diameter circles.
