The Dayton Audio 2-inch DMA Series passive radiator is designed to achieve low tuning frequencies in small enclosures. It has an aluminum cone, rubber surround and adjustable mass, and can be used with small drivers that require low tuning. Suggested applications include smart speakers, sound bars and portable Bluetooth speakers.
Tune the radiator by adding mass with the threaded rod and included wing nut on the back of the cone. Specifications: Fs: 39.8 Hz; Vas: 0.025 ft³ (0.72 liters); Qms: 3.93; Cms: 2.4 mm/N; Mms: 6.7 g; Rms: 0.432 kg/s; Sd: 14.5 cm²; Xmech: 7 mm.
Dimensions: overall diameter: 2.2" x 2.2"; cutout diameter: 1.97"; depth: 1.5". As a general rule, passive radiator(s) should have at least double the air displacement (Vd) of the active woofer(s)/subwoofer(s) in the system. Calculate Vd as Sd x Xmax = Vd.
