Having extra IMS™ mounting discs makes it easier to try different locations and find the sound you want. The IMS™ interchangeable mounting system is built for flexible placement and easy swapping between configurations.
Each exciter uses a threaded mounting pad that can be permanently installed with 2 screws or with 3M VHB™ Adhesive. The pad can be removed from the exciter assembly and screwed back on, making it simple to A/B different exciters or replace a non-functional unit without damaging your project.
Compatible Dayton Audio IMS™ exciters include EX25CT2-4, EX25VT2-4, EX25FHE2-4, EX32EP2-4, EX32U2-4, EX30HESF2-4, EX32Q2-4, and EX32Q2-8.
