The white Dayton Audio IO65XTW is a pair of 6-1/2-inch, 2-way indoor/outdoor speakers with passive radiators for extended low-end response. The sealed IP66 ABS enclosures are designed for outdoor use, while the speakers are also suitable for indoor installations such as offices, bars and hotels. Use them in patios, pools, gardens, porches, conference rooms, entertainment venues, warehouses and shipping centers.
Each speaker has a 6-1/2-inch polypropylene cone woofer and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. Power handling is 50 watts RMS and 100 watts maximum at 8 ohms; frequency response is 42–20,000 Hz, impedance is 8Ω / 70V, and sensitivity is 86 dB (1W/1m). The 70V/100V transformer has 5W, 10W, 20W and 40W taps, with an 8-ohm bypass for consumer amplifiers.
Included mounting brackets allow vertical or horizontal installation and pivoting for positioning. Each speaker measures 11.25 inches W × 7.9 inches D × 7.7 inches H and weighs 7.6 lbs. The pair is sold in white.
