The Dayton Audio ME525MTM is a Micro-Edge LCRS in-wall speaker designed for front, center, or surround channels. It is sold individually and can be mounted vertically for left, right, or surround use, or horizontally as a center-channel speaker.
Its dual 5-1/4" woofers have black woven Kevlar cones, paired with a centrally mounted, pivoting 1" silk-dome tweeter. A three-position room integration switch lets you decrease treble output. The low-profile perforated grill and ultra-slim Micro-Edge frame are paintable. ME-series speakers are timbre-matched for use together in a home theater.
When mounted horizontally as a center speaker, it fits between studs with standard 16-inch stud spacing; no additional adjustment is required. Dimensions including the grill are 14-3/4" wide by 7-1/2" high. Mounting depth is 2-7/8", overall depth is 3-1/4", and the cutout measures 13-3/8" wide by 6-1/8" high.
