The Dayton Audio PMPC-5.6 is a 5.6 µF precision audio capacitor for speaker crossover construction. Its metallized polypropylene design has a ±1% tolerance, and every capacitor is matched to support consistent crossover values and speaker imaging.
Rated at 250 VDC, it has a maximum dissipation factor of 0.001 (0.1%) at 1 KHz and an operating range of -55°C to 105°C. Dielectric strength is 150%, and insulation resistance is 10,000 MΩ × µF.
The capacitor is specified for a life test of 1,000 hours at 85°C and 150% rated voltage. Dimensions: 21 mm diameter × 31 mm length.
