The Dayton Audio Xo2w-2.5K is a 2-way speaker crossover designed with a second order (12 dB/octave) Linkwitz-Riley alignment for speaker builds that need a 2,500 Hz crossover point.
It uses Dayton Audio metallized polyester film capacitors in both the high and low pass sections, plus 18 gauge inductors to keep DC resistance to a minimum. The low pass section is designed for use with 4 or 8 ohm woofers, making it well suited for D'Appolito style or multi woofer 2-way systems. The high pass crossover frequency is rated for an 8 ohm load.
All components are glued or fastened down to help eliminate buzzing and vibrations. The blue PC board includes a back plate for added rigidity and eyelet holes for easy mounting. Board measures 6-1/2" W x 4-1/4" H x 1-3/8" D, uses 0.205" terminals, and is rated for 300W power handling.
