The Dayton Audio Xo3w-700/5.6K is a 3-way speaker crossover with crossover points at 700 Hz and 5,600 Hz. It uses a 2nd-order design with a 12 dB/octave slope and a 3 octave spread between crossover points, with 300W power handling.
The low-pass section supports 4 or 8 ohm woofers, making it suitable for multi-woofer systems. The midrange and high-pass sections are rated for an 8 ohm load. Metallized polyester film capacitors are used in the critical midrange and tweeter signal paths. The inductors are 18 gauge for the tweeter and midrange and 20 gauge for the woofer to keep DC resistance to a minimum.
Components are glued or fastened down to help eliminate buzzing and vibrations. The blue PC board has a back plate for added rigidity and eyelet holes for mounting. Board dimensions are 11-3/8" W x 4-3/8" H x 2" D, and the terminals are 0.205".
