The Donner electronic drum set is a 5-drum, 3-cymbal kit with headphones and a drum throne. Its sound module uses the French DREAM chip and includes 450 timbres, 30 preset drum-set samples and 31 drum sets. Six intensity layers help reproduce playing dynamics.
The 8" double-trigger snare and 8" single-trigger tom use double-layer mesh pads. The 10" hi-hat and crash have position sensing; the crash also supports edge, surface and blocking triggers. The 10" ride has edge and blocking areas. The cymbals are made from environmentally friendly silicone.
The foldable metal stand is adjustable for positioning and storage. Practice features include 50 practice songs, 3 coaching functions, scoring, recording and playback. The kit can expand to a maximum configuration of 5 drums and 4 cymbals by adding Crash2. USB MIDI supports connection to DAW software, and audio output can be recorded through a sound card. The accompanying DONNER PLAY practice app is free to use.
