Inspired by the whimsical and snarky space robots of childhood, Droid Funk is an exciting and accessible piece that will get your string orchestra grooving and improvising with confidence. Written solos in each part offer both scaffolded improvisation practice and shining moments for students seeking a challenge. Get ready for a jump to groove-speed---your orchestra is about to get funky!
