An oversized treated foam surround is mechanically stitched to the fiberglass reinforced paper cone to ensure that that high stress joint will not fail even under high excursion and stress. To handle up to 220 watts RMS, the SLC10S uses a 2" 4-layer voice that is thoroughly vented through the pole piece and under the spider which dissipates excess heat and minimizes power compression. Push button spring loaded terminals are used to provide a simple and secure wire connection for easy installation.
