This light duty toggle switch uses simple on/on switching. Contacts 1 and 2 connect when the switch is in the up position. Contacts 3 and 4 connect when the switch is in the down position. Only one device will be on at a time. This enables you to bring two different voltages in to power two different devices with one switch. Turn on a temporary device while disconnecting the main device.
