The Elite Pro wood conga set is designed for intermediate players seeking the size and sound of full-sized drums. Finished in Natural Maple Fade (NF), the drums are 11" and 11-3/4" and stand 28" tall.
The set features 2-ply Asian Oak shells, durable high-luster chrome hardware, an EasyPlay Hoop and a top-grade Bison head. It includes a fully adjustable double conga stand with a single top plate mounting bracket and one clamp device, so four mounting screws are not needed.
Toca states that the wood is harvested from a plantation in Thailand, where the drums are lathed and handcrafted by local musicians. The carefully managed resource is described as easier on the environment than wood taken from primary forests.
