Charles Gounod’s Faust conductor score features the Act II Waltz Chorus, “Ainsi que la brise légère,” from one of the most popular operas in the repertoire.
This reprint edition presents the lively, graceful chorus scene outside the city gates, where Gounod’s lyric style, festive energy, and vivid orchestration create a memorable contrast to the opera’s darker themes.
