This conductor score and parts present the Finale from Mozart’s Serenade in B-Flat, KV 361. The transcription uses a relatively clean manuscript with minimal articulation and dynamic markings, allowing performers room for interpretation. Articulation markings at the beginning are suggestions.
Rather than featuring only the soprano saxophone as a solo, the melodies are divided among all parts. The molto allegro Finale is in rondo form and should sparkle with cheerful charm and wit; saxophonists are encouraged to bring out the lightness and grace found in much of Mozart’s music.
