
Five Pieces (Fünf Stücke), Op. 10 is a score for chamber orchestra made up of five short pieces composed between 1911 and 1913.
Similar to Anton Webern's Bagatelles in its use of twelve tones and brevity, this work was conducted by Webern at its premiere in Zurich in 1926.
Inspired by Mahler, the orchestration includes harmonium, mandolin, guitar, celesta, bells, and cowbells, with the instrumentation listed as: 1dPicc.1.1(dBcl)+Eb Cl.0: 1.1.1.0: Perc(4).Hrmm.Clst.Mdln.Gtr.Hp: Str(1.0.1.1.1).
