“Fossils” is a very simplified string orchestra arrangement from the famous Carnival of the Animals, arranged by Andrew H. Dabczynski. It is designed for students in their second year of study to perform a familiar yet challenging classic favorite.
The conductor score and parts feature special musical effects, including pizzicato, Bartók pizzicato and col legno, along with optional percussion parts. “Fossils” can enliven a string orchestra concert program.
