The GRS 12-inch, 4-ohm poly cone subwoofer is designed to replace blown or damaged subwoofers in a variety of audio gear or serve in new designs. It is presented as a replacement driver that can equal or outperform the original. Its polypropylene cone, large vented magnet assembly, and extended voice coil support long-throw performance and authoritative bass.
The 12" model has a 2" diameter voice coil and 8.5mm excursion for bass performance in compact sealed and vented enclosures. It is also suited to dipole and automotive infinite baffle applications.
Recommended sealed enclosure: Vb = 1.5 ft^3, F3 = 37 Hz, Qtc: 1.6. Recommended vented enclosure: Vb = 2.5 ft^3, Fb = 32 Hz, F3 = 30 Hz.
