The GRS 12SW-4HE is a 12" high excursion subwoofer designed for extended low frequency response and flexible system building. It works well as a replacement driver for existing subwoofer systems or as a choice for new economical designs.
Key specs include a nominal diameter of 12", 250W RMS power handling, 500W max power handling, 4 Ω impedance, 20-500Hz frequency response, 84dB 2.83V/1m sensitivity, a 2" voice coil, and 12.5mm maximum linear excursion.
Its bass-centric response runs from 26Hz up to 500Hz, with low QTS and high efficiency within its passband. Construction includes extensive venting through the frame, pole piece, and magnetic gap, plus a rigid paper cone, large diameter spider, rubber surround, and a high temperature 2" voice coil wound on a thick aluminum former.
