Hypex Direct Fusion Amplifiers
The FusionAmp FA501 is a mono amplifier module developed for one-way active loudspeaker applications. It is well suited for active subwoofers or single-channel active monitors that require higher output power.
The module includes a single 500 W NCORE® Class D amplifier channel. It is designed to deliver stable output for low-frequency applications as well as full-range one-way loudspeaker designs.
The FA501 supports several input options, including balanced analog XLR input with loop through, unbalanced analog RCA input, and high-level input. This allows it to integrate with a wide range of source equipment and system configurations. A front-panel gain control is included for level adjustment.
Optional accessories such as the or are available for remote operation and system feedback.
Multiple Fusion Amp modules can be combined in a master-slave configuration to create multi-channel active loudspeaker systems. The FA501 is intended for applications that need a compact integrated amplifier solution with higher power capability.

2-Way Active LoudspeakerA 2-way speaker is a loudspeaker that has only two drivers, which are a tweeter and a woofer. The woofer covers all frequencies lower than the tweeter. The human ear is more sensitive to mid frequencies, that’s why a speaker system should have at least two types of drivers: one mid-range and the other high-frequency, or tweeter.

3-Way Active LoudspeakerA 3-way speaker is a loudspeaker that uses three separate drivers: a tweeter, a midrange, and a woofer. Because each driver can be optimized for a specific frequency range, a three-way speaker is able to deliver sound that is clearer, fuller, and more precise.

Single SubwooferA subwoofer is an important part of an audio system, adding stronger low frequencies throughout the room. It reproduces bass from roughly 20 to 200 Hz, a range that two-way speakers or surround systems often cannot fully handle on their own. Adding a subwoofer can improve overall sound by making the dynamics feel more impactful and the soundstage seem larger.

Dual SubwooferA dual subwoofer system can significantly increase available headroom, giving you greater dynamic range, reduced output compression, lower distortion, and fewer overdrive-related artifacts. Put simply, running two subwoofers delivers cleaner, more accurate bass when played at very high levels.
