PreDIGin Add-On for PreAmplifier Kit
Please note: This product is only compatible with the .The PreDIGin add-on is made to fully complement the PreAmplifier Kit. Serving as its digital counterpart, PreDIGin is built for audio enthusiasts who want the best possible listening experience. At its core is advanced technology, featuring high-quality components such as the AK5574 ADC IC, dual CS43198 DAC ICs running in mono mode, the SRC4392 for high-performance sample rate conversion, and the ADSP21489 DSP for sophisticated signal processing.
An Exceptional DACA defining strength of the PreDIGin is its outstanding DAC performance. With a 14 dBu output level, distortion of an impressive -117.5 dB, a signal-to-noise ratio of 128.5 dB, and a dynamic range of 127 dB, the PreDIGin delivers exceptionally clean audio reproduction that captures the fine detail in your favorite music.
Flexibility is another major advantage of the PreDIGin, with support for a broad range of audio formats and connection options. Whether you use traditional inputs such as S/PDIF, Optical, and AES/EBU up to 192 kHz/24-bit, or more advanced digital connections like USB Type-B and Network1 up to 384 kHz/32-bit, the PreDIGin is built to accommodate them. Bluetooth support at 48 kHz/16-bit also adds a convenient wireless streaming option.
The PreDIGin add-on also includes a network option with an internal USB audio input. Users need to purchase and install a Raspberry Pi inside the DIY PreAmplifier, with support for models 2 through 5 and a dedicated space already provided. The Raspberry Pi acts as the internal processor and works alongside the software you choose. Since several software options are available, each with its own pros and cons, it is worth selecting the one that best fits your needs.
For users who want to push their audio system further, the PreDIGin also includes a FusionConnect board. This optional feature allows the PreAmplifier Kit to serve as the master device in a FusionAmp system, offering smoother integration and greater control across your FusionAmp-based setup.
With its strong performance, broad versatility, and forward-thinking features, the PreDIGin raises the bar for DIY audio enthusiasts. Bring out the full potential of the PreAmplifier and take your listening experience further with the PreDIGin add-on.

PreamplifiersA preamplifier boosts low-level signals up to line level, which is the standard operating level required by your power amplifier. That means a preamp is needed for nearly any audio source. In addition to raising low-level signals, a preamplifier also manages source switching and volume control for line-level inputs.

Mono power amps are often regarded as one of the best ways to build a high-quality amplifier system. They are commonly used in Hi-Fi and high-end audio systems, but they can also serve in musical instrument amplifier applications.

Stereo / Dual Power Amplifier A dual power amplifier contains two power supplies and two amplifier channels, with each channel running from its own dedicated power supply. Both the power supplies and amplifier sections are housed within a single enclosure. A stereo power amplifier uses one power supply to run two amplifier channels within the same enclosure.
