SMPS1200A100 Switched-Mode Power Supply The SMPS1200 is a high-efficiency Safety Class 2 switch mode power supply created for use with UcD™ amplifier modules. It is intended for audio systems that need stable power delivery across a broad load range in a compact, lightweight form.
The power supply includes overcurrent protection that limits output current during temporary overload conditions. It also provides symmetrical auxiliary outputs along with a control interface for operation with UcD™ amplifier modules.
The SMPS1200 is engineered for low radiated and conducted electromagnetic interference. Its topology and layout are optimized to satisfy EMI requirements commonly associated with professional and high-end audio applications.
The power supply supports a selectable input voltage range, allowing it to operate with different mains supply specifications. This makes it well suited for international use across varying power grid standards.
As a 2-quadrant full bridge rectifier, the SMPS1200 can supply single-ended Class D amplifiers.
The SMPS1200 meets applicable safety and performance standards and is certified for use in professional audio equipment.

PreamplifiersA preamplifier boosts low-level signals up to line level, which is the standard operating level required by your power amplifier. That means a preamp is needed for nearly any audio source. In addition to raising low-level signals, a preamplifier also manages source switching and volume control for line-level inputs.

Mono power amps are often regarded as one of the best ways to build a high-quality amplifier system. They are commonly used in Hi-Fi and high-end audio systems, but they can also serve in musical instrument amplifier applications.

Stereo / Dual Power AmplifierA dual power amplifier contains two power supplies and two amplifier channels, with each channel running from its own dedicated power supply. Both the power supplies and amplifier sections are housed within a single enclosure. A stereo power amplifier uses one power supply to run two amplifier channels within the same enclosure.
