This Set 1 edition of Italian Songs and Arias of the 17th and 18th Century is arranged for string orchestra and includes score and parts. The song text remains in Italian, with translations by Giovanna Jackson to support a singer’s interpretation.
The three songs are Caro Mio Ben (Giordani), Cangia, Cangia Tue Voglie (Fasolo), and Danza, Danza, Fanciulla Gentile (Durante). Albert C. Vinci arranged each song, and Mary Sue Hyatt edited the edition.
This edition is for string orchestra; a string quartet version is also available from the publisher.
