The Jantzen Audio 1.8 µF 800V Superior Z-Cap is a non-polarized Super MKP capacitor for high-end passive speaker crossovers, especially tweeter and mid-range applications, and for coupling in tube and power amplifiers. Dimensions: Ø 26mm × 45mm.
Its metalized polypropylene foil uses a double-lane, double-foil construction, with two capacitors connected in series inside one housing. This design uses four times the foil of a standard metalized polypropylene foil capacitor and is made using special winding machines and techniques. Capacitance tolerance is ±2%. Jantzen does not fill the capacitor with dielectric fluid, avoiding the risks of evaporation or leakage that can shorten capacitor longevity and quality.
