The JBL J225/J289 Replacement Terminal Cup with Notch Filter is an OEM drop in replacement for JBL J225 or J289 full range speakers. It can also be utilized for a low cost source for select crossover components and a quality spring loaded terminal cup.
The notch filter is a series type, made up of a 0.48 mH iron core inductor, 3.9 ohm 10W ceramic resistor and 15uF radial lead capacitor. A 12/24V lamp is also in line for added protection. Mounts in a simple 2" diameter hole and accepts up to 14 AWG wire.
